Stephanie Poole

D.V.M., Medical Director

Dr. Stephanie O. Poole joins South Broward Animal Hospital as our dedicated Managing DVM, bringing with her an exceptional depth of experience and a profound commitment to animal welfare. With a remarkable 27-year career in veterinary medicine, including 17 years as a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Poole’s journey in this profession began as a teenager working as a kennel technician assistant, solidifying her passion for animal care early on.

Dr. Sarah Baglione has been dedicated to the veterinary field for more than 11 years. She earned her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College and has built her career around providing high-quality, evidence-based care to every patient she meets.

Christine F. Walters

D.V.M., Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Christine Walters entered the veterinary field in 2013 as an animal shelter volunteer. She attended the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish Language and Composition. She went on to complete post-baccalaureate studies in pre-medical sciences at Florida International University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During her time there, she concentrated in aquatic animal medicine and exotic companion animal medicine.

With a remarkable 27-year career in veterinary medicine, including 17 years as a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Poole’s journey in this profession began as a teenager working as a kennel technician assistant, solidifying her passion for animal care early on.

A proud double alumna of the prestigious Tuskegee University, Dr. Poole earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences in 2004, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Her extensive education and hands-on experience have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of veterinary science and patient care.

Dr. Poole prides herself most on the trust she earns with both staff and clients. She firmly believes that trust is the most powerful tool in veterinary medicine.

Outside of her impactful work at the clinic, Dr. Poole cherishes her free time spent cruising the world with her husband, whom she considers her best friend. Together, they have explored some of the globe’s most beautiful destinations. She also enjoys unwinding by watching captivating sci-fi and thriller movies.

Dr. Poole is excited to become a vital part of the South Broward community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with our clients and their beloved pets, ensuring they receive the compassionate and high-quality care they deserve.

Dr. Sarah Baglione has been dedicated to the veterinary field for more than 11 years. She earned her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College and has built her career around providing high-quality, evidence-based care to every patient she meets.

Dr. Baglione is committed to staying current with the latest standards of care so she can offer the most effective treatments and recommendations. She focuses on proactive, personalized preventative care and provides compassionate support for sick or injured pets. Her goal is to ensure each pet receives thorough, thoughtful care, and that every owner feels informed, supported, and confident in their pet’s health plan.

At home, Dr. Baglione enjoys life with Ruby, her 9-year-old terrier mix rescue. Outside of the hospital, she loves reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr. Walters takes great pride in continuously expanding her knowledge of animal behavior to help make every hospital visit as low-stress and comfortable as possible for her patients, their guardians, her colleagues, and herself.

At home, she shares her life with a bearded dragon named Noelle, a finch named Ring, a betta fish named Angel, and a school of dumbo ear guppies. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys snorkeling, paddling, longboarding, dancing, and makeup artistry.

Tatiana
Practice Manager

Tatiana has been part of the veterinary medicine field since 2016 and currently serves as the Practice Manager at South Broward Animal Hospital & Urgent Pet Care. She is also pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster and holds OSHA certification.

Tatiana takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient while supporting their families with empathy and clear communication. She’s passionate about fostering a positive, welcoming environment where clients feel confident and informed about their pets’ health.

At home, Tatiana shares her life with three beloved pets — Nina, an 18-year-old Shih Tzu; Sue, an 8-year-old Corgi mix; and Teddy, a playful 10-month-old Bengal mix cat. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new experiences, and focusing on her personal and professional growth.

Victoria Goodson
Veterinary Technician

Victoria has been part of the veterinary field for over two years and is proud to be a Veterinary Technician at South Broward Animal Hospital. A graduate of HCI College, she is passionate about helping clients better understand their pets’ needs and behaviors. Victoria finds great fulfillment in seeing the bond that grows between pets and their owners — and witnessing the positive results that come from care, dedication, and teamwork.

Although she doesn’t currently have pets, Victoria has shared her life with animals since childhood and has a lifelong love for them. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, drawing, spending time outdoors, relaxing at the beach, and taking walks around her neighborhood.

Xaria
Veterinary Technician

Xaria has been working in veterinary medicine for 3–4 years and is a valued Veterinary Technician at South Broward Animal Hospital. She studied at the University of West Florida and Broward College, where she developed her strong foundation in animal care and science.

Xaria takes pride in truly understanding the unique needs and behaviors of each animal she cares for, ensuring every patient receives individualized, compassionate attention.

At home, she enjoys the company of her two cats, Noire and Obsidian. When she’s not at the hospital, you can often find Xaria relaxing and enjoying nature by the lakes.

Veterinary Technician

Nardia has been part of the veterinary field for about six years and is proud to serve as a Veterinary Technician at South Broward Animal Hospital. She currently attends Broward College, continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.

Nardia takes great pride in client education and providing high-quality care for every pet. She believes every animal deserves a strong advocate, and every pet owner should have the knowledge and resources to help their companion live a happy, healthy life.

At home, Nardia shares her life with three beloved dogs — Max, a German Shepherd; Milo, a Cane Corso; and BabyBell, a Terrier mix. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, traveling near or far, and spending time with friends and family.

Jackie has been part of the South Broward Animal Hospital team since 2018, serving as a compassionate and welcoming Client Service Representative. She loves being the friendly face clients see when they walk through the door and takes pride in helping every pet owner in any way she can.

At home, Jackie shares her life with two beloved cats — Rambo, her sweet 16-year-old senior, and Momo, a 13-year-old troublemaker who keeps things lively. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the park, and keeping up with her energetic daughter who always keeps her on her toes.

Client Service Representative

Katherine has been part of the veterinary field for seven years and is a dedicated Client Service Representative at South Broward Animal Hospital. A graduate of McArthur High School and Broward College, she takes pride in her compassion and deep love for all animals, always striving to make clients and their pets feel welcome and cared for.

At home, Katherine enjoys the company of her adorable pet hedgehog, Ai chan. In her free time, she loves reading, watching J-horror movies, and exploring nature parks for a good hike.
